Come-Up-To-The-Studio Shirt

I'm not ashamed to say I wept a little when this fabric landed. 1000 perfect ways to frame a face, and this, the king of them all.  It's crisp, it's dense, it's so delicately textured; it's a micro-grosgrain woven from earth by Athena herself, and we stone washed it into soft submission. We call it CLAY UTILITY POPLIN - a robust evolution of our love of touch. You won't believe it's yours.

The floating interlining is sturdy in that old fashioned way; firm between thumb + finger, but oh-so pliable and ready to play, rolling gracefully at the most subdued hint of manipulation. You just wait until you wash it!

Oh, and in case you haven't yet met, the Come Up To The Studio shirt is our brand ambassador. Embodying the fit, feel, repose, + relaxation of L.E.J. It's a formal shirt in a casual body. It is full, and the pattern-making ergonomically square. By goodness gracious, this is the way to wear fabric.

- pre-washed
- a straight cut, generous 1950s block
- slightly dropped shoulder
- unlined point collar with sport throat tab extension
- balloon breast pocket, w / flap and button
- L.E.J mother of pearl buttons
- straight hem with side split vents
- twin-needled placket
- made in Italy

- gentle cold wash or dry clean
- wash inside-out to avoid button chips + fabric abrasion/marking
- wash with like colours
- dry on a hanger, or flat
- do not tumble dry
- re-shape whilst damp
- give collar a tug whilst drying
- keep out of direct sunlight, + away from direct heat, whilst drying
- low soft iron
